Concept · Your ChatGPT Dot, in Discord

Turn conversations into useful work

Dots for Discord brings your personal Dot into the thread. Choose the messages, give it a task, and review what comes back. No more copying between apps.

  • You choose the context
  • You set the permissions
  • You review the result

Animated product preview: a Discord thread of bug reports, client feedback and support messages is turned by your Dot into a proposed fix, a design preview with an unsent reply, and a private summary.

The problem

Every copy loses something.

It starts in a thread, with everything attached. Copy it into a ticket. The sender, the thread and the clip stay behind. Retell it to your AI from memory. Now it has to guess what you forgot. Or let your Dot read the thread where it lives. Nothing to copy.

A bug report is copied from Discord into a ticket, then retold to an AI chat. Each hop drops details: who said it and when, the reply context, the video clip, how often it happens and which version. With a Dot, the thread is read where it lives and nothing is lost.

How it works

From thread to result in three moves.

  1. 1

    Choose the messages

Select the relevant part of a conversation. Only what you pick becomes context.

  2. 2

    Give your Dot a task

Ask it to investigate, prepare a change, draft a reply, or summarize an issue.

  3. 3

    Review what comes back

A proposal, preview, or draft lands in the thread. You decide what happens next.

Scroll-driven demo: three Discord messages about a bug are selected, a task is typed for the Dot, and a proposed fix returns with the branch not merged and the update notes not announced.

Use cases

One Dot. Three ways to put it to work.

Start from a real conversation and end with something you can actually review. A fix, a preview, a summary.

Hollowtide/bug-reports

Game development: bug reports about falling through stairs are selected. The Dot investigates and returns a proposed fix on a separate branch with supporting evidence and draft update notes. Nothing is merged or announced.

Context & permissions

You set the context. You set the limits.

Decide what your Dot can see and what it's allowed to do. It can prepare a separate branch while being explicitly prohibited from merging or announcing anything.

Pricing model

You bring the Dot. We bring the connection.

Questions

The short answers.

You do, through the Dot and AI usage you already have. The subscription covers the Discord connection.

The context you choose: the messages you select, or a narrowly scoped watch on a channel. Everything else stays out of reach.

Not unless you allow it. A Dot can prepare a separate branch while being explicitly prohibited from merging or announcing anything. Results come back to you for review.

The Discord connector and MCP are in early preview. You can connect a private channel now. Automatic personal Dot replies need a supported ChatGPT event subscription and are still being tested. Paid subscriptions are not available yet.

Give your conversations somewhere to go.

Your Dot is already good at the work. Now it can be where the conversation is.
